About you can see a new subway entrance made of Alcantara Black® with flamed texture, while on the left you can see a floor with a polished finish

After finish the planned extensions, Metro de Madrid will be the third largest underground network in the world, only surpassed by New York and Moscow  subways.

All the persons interested in this project, contributed  for many months with a very hard work to complete this infraestructure following new charges of usability, desing and unification marked by Metro de Madrid and Mintra bringing 15,7 new kilometers and 11 new stations to two municipalities in the north of Madrid, Alcobendas and San Sebastian de los Reyes, integrating them effectively in the subway network and providen direct service to 184.000 users. In this way it should be mentioned that the new subway line will serve to the workers in the District C through the station called “Ronda de las Comunicaciones”.

  +          0.87 Miles of platform edge built it with pieces of 80x40x6 cm. with double slip band made in AK

  +          1.55 Miles of staircase of 6 cm. thick with slip band made in AK

  + 16,145.85 sqft. paved floor of 60x40x3 cm made in AK

  +   8,611.15 sqft. of cladding made of AK and  AI

  +          7 Ud. of access temples made of AK

  +          2 Ud. de entrances in made of AK and  AI flamed

    The contruction company responsible for bring better end to the most of this infrastructure, has been ACCIONA Infraestructuras and OHL, who have extensive experience in this type of projects, endorsed by all previous work in the areas and activities of nacional construction and railway infrastructure.

    As mentioned above these facilities and materials, will be enjoyed by the 184.000 residents of these district using this line as a means of daily transportation, precisely for this very intensive use, all the materials used in these type of facilities, and above all the pedestrian areas, must comply with strict rules and physical-mechanical features, which provide great durability through the years, keeping at once, magnificent aesthetic qualities.
